ACMA: Diabetes

This ACMA specialty course focuses on the insulin administration certification. Our course helps Certified Medication Aides build a deeper understanding of diabetes and the role medications play in managing it. Students explore how insulin and oral agents work, when and how to administer them, and how to recognize signs of hypo- and hyperglycemia. Each lesson connects medication principles with real-world scenarios, preparing students to provide safe, compassionate diabetic care.
